NEWBERG, Oregon--A-dec|W&H is offering handpieces utilizing LED lighting technology.
Two Synea highspeed handpieces, the TA-97LED and TA-98LED, feature the new technology, which offers daylight-quality illumination and a lifespan 10 times longer than standard bulbs. These highspeeds are part of a family of new Synea handpieces that will be launched Sept. 27 at the ADA Annual Session in San Francisco.
The handpieces are among the lightest highspeeds available today, making movements simple and comfortable. The total weight, including that of the Roto-Quick coupler, is about 25 percent less than competing handpieces.
Both the TA‑97LED and TA-98LED, as well as the entire line of new Synea highspeeds, utilize the next generation in turbine technology for ultra smooth, quiet operation and a long lifespan.
The smaller, narrow head design of the TA-97LED provides access and a clear view. Both handpieces also offer the new Penta Spray, which includes five ports that provide exceptional cooling and keep the treatment area clear of debris.
The quiet, yet powerful TA-97LED offers 17-watts, setting a performance standard for bur lengths of 16-21 mm. The TA-98LED offers 20 watts of power while maintaining nearly the same ultra-light weight, making it an ideal handpiece for bur lengths of 19-25 mm.
Part of the extensive line of A‑dec|W&H products, Synea offers precision instruments. They are supported by A-dec and more than 100 years of experience and innovation from the handpiece manufacturer, W&H.
