ROCK HILL, South Carolina--Designed specifically to work on difficult Zirconia abutments and restorations, ZR-Diamonds from KOMET USA produce desirable esthetic and functional results.

Zirconia's high strength, durability, and esthetic appearance make it a popular ceramic material for creating crowns and bridges; however, it is difficult to manage and cut with conventisonal diamond instruments. ZR-Diamonds are not like conventional diamonds.

Its special coating features a considerably higher operating life and material reduction. Extensive clinical testing has shown that ZR-Diamonds can recontour tough Zirconia material.

The unique ZR-Diamond manufacturing process permanently bonds the diamond particles into a dense, packed layer. ZR-Diamonds are available in most common shapes and three grits:

* Coarse grit is suitable for gross contouring

* Medium grit is less abrasive, and better suited for smaller adjustments

* Fine grit produces a smooth surface

ZR-Diamonds are diamond instruments for contouring Zirconia material and can be a valuable aid to dentists and lab technicians.
