SOUTH BEND, Indiana--Furthering its expansion into high-end cosmetic products and materials, Heraeus Kulzer, Inc., a leader in dental esthetics, has announced its newest member of the Venus family: Venus White.

The mint-flavored whitening gel is a complementary step in the Venus Smile complete esthetic system, which offers a range of cosmetic products for direct and indirect application.

Venus integrates direct composite solutions and indirect porcelain solutions. The fully integrated system, which is designed to provide a natural looking and predictable esthetic outcome, includes Venus Composite, Venus Flow, Venus Temp C&B, Venus Porcelain and now Venus White.

"The Venus brand must continually evolve to meet the demands of the market, our customers, and our partners," explained Christopher Holden, president of Heraeus Kulzer, Inc. "Venus White is a necessary and welcomed addition to the brand."

The Venus White take-home whitening gel is available in 16% and 22% strengths and offers shelf-stable whitening that outperforms traditional hydrogen whitening products. Additionally, Venus White contains potassium nitrate which helps decrease sensitivity associated with bleaching.

Various kit configurations, including full kits and refill kits, are available and complementary patient marketing materials are included with each order. The purchase of Venus White will benefit breast cancer research.

Also a free iPod Touch is included with orders of 48 kits plus 12 refills. This offer, and other special introductory offers, expire Dec. 31, 2008.
