Steve Martin and Martin Short team up for Sirona anniversary

Charlotte, NC – Sirona Dental Systems, LLC, the company that pioneered digital dentistry more than 25 years ago, and the world’s leading producer of dental CAD/CAM systems, recently signed two entertainment industry legends to appear on stage during its upcoming CEREC 27 and a half Anniversary Celebration.Attendees of the three-day CAD/CAM extravaganza coming to The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino from Aug. 16 through 18 will receive a double whammy of laughs when comedy icons Steve Martin and Martin Short perform their unique live show, entitled “A Very Stupid Conversation.”According to Sirona Dental Systems president Michael Augins, “Whenever we plan a CEREC anniversary event, we raise the bar a bit higher. This includes everything from our CE lecture program to our exhibit hall to our entertainment. We’re very excited to have Steve Martin and Martin Short appear during the CEREC 27 and a half Anniversary Celebration.”“A Very Stupid Conversation” is a two-man show performed by two close friends who just happen to be comedy geniuses, and who also enjoy poking fun at each other. The format is an intimate and outrageous blend of interviews, one-liners, singing, banjo playing, and film clips. The hour-and-a-half performance will take place on the evneing of Aug. 17. In addition to entertainment, CEREC 27 and a half will provide up to 18 CE credits across a comprehensive spectrum of digital dentistry topics and tracks, and feature an exhibit hall showcasing top dental companies and their products and services. The CEREC 27 and a half Anniversary Celebration will also commemorate the 20th anniversary of Schick Digital Radiography, the 10th anniversary of Sirona’s inLab® Dental Lab CAD/CAM System, and the fifth anniversary of the GALILEOS® Digital Imaging System.
