Vident introduces inVizion all-ceramic restorations

Jan. 22, 2005
inVizion restorations are perfect for single anterior crowns, anterior bridges, single posterior crowns, and posterior bridges.

Vident has introduced a new all-ceramic restoration called the inVizion, which combines the proven strength of VITA YZ ceramic frameworks with the highly esthetic properties of VITAVM®9 ceramic veneering material. VITA YZ (yttrium stabilized zirconium oxide) is among the strongest all-ceramic dental materials available and boasts an incredible 900+ MPa flexural strength. inVizion is perfect for long-span bridges and available in 29 primary VITA 3D-Master® shades as well as 52 intermediate shades.

inVizion restorations are perfect for single anterior crowns, anterior bridges, single posterior crowns, and posterior bridges. The preparation requires either a chamfer or a shoulder with a rounded internal preparation.

VITA YZ cubes are presintered zirconium oxide blocks partially stabilized with yttrium oxide. This condition allows easy processing and facilitates the grinding of enlarged bridge and crown substructures in the CEREC inLab® system. These structures are then sintered in a VITA ZYrcomat, a special high temperature furnace, so that they shrink and form a highly stable and precision-fit structure.

inVizion frameworks of milled VITA YZ cubes are available in 20 mm, 40 mm and 55 mm sizes. The 55 mm cube offers the CEREC® inLab user the opportunity to provide the dentist a full quadrant of all-ceramic bridges. The ceramic technology of the YZ55 Cube will provide for the milling of a true 40 mm bridge.

Vident has been a provider of innovative dental products since 1985 and is the North American representative of VITA, manufacturer of the internationally recognized Vitapan Classical Shade Guide, 3D-Master® Shade System and quality VITA materials.
