This advanced software allows laboratories to mill crown copings, multi-unit bridge frameworks, inlays, onlays and fully contoured crowns out of single, solid blocks of VITA materials.

The CEREC inLab 3D system is the latest addition to Sirona's CAD/CAM product line. This advanced software allows laboratories to mill crown copings, multi-unit bridge frameworks, inlays, onlays and fully contoured crowns out of single, solid blocks of VITA materials. VITA In-Ceram® maintains an impressive 98% success rate at 6 years in-vivo, with over 15 total years of clinically proven use in millions of restorations worldwide, making it the most successful and reliable all-ceramic system available.

The new 3D software ensures the accuracy of the restoration because the lab technician sees what will be milled on the screen before it is sent to the milling machine. CEREC inLab 3D restorations are available in various types of strong and esthetic materials, such as VITA In-Ceram (Spinell, Alumina, Zirconia); additionally, pure zirconium oxide (VITA YZ) for long-span, multiunit bridges, and feldspar ceramic blocks (VITA Mark II) for inlays, onlays or crowns are now available. These materials make CEREC inLab 3D restorations suitable for virtually any clinical indication while satisfying both the esthetic and functional needs of each patient.

CEREC inLab 3D restorations require no extra work by the dentist, accommodating both shoulder and chamfer preparations. The finished restorations can be placed using either conventional cementation or with bonding agents, allowing for easy placement using standard techniques.

Nearly 200 dental labs in North America are now offering CEREC inLab all-ceramic CAD/CAM restorations. CEREC inLab restorations provide technically and clinically reliable results through the proven CEREC® and VITA technologies. The beauty of CEREC inLab restorations begins at the core, with a choice of different colors of infiltration glass that allow even supragingival preps, as the margins become virtually invisible. At build-up, Vitadur® Alpha porcelain and VM 7 allow the lab to select from a comprehensive variety of shades, including multiple bleaching shades. This unique combination of infiltration glass and porcelain build-up work together to provide uncompromising esthetics and vitality that replicates natural tooth enamel, matching any tooth shade, guaranteeing complete patient satisfaction.
