Menu options expanded for inLab and inEOS users

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina--Sirona Dental Systems, a leading producer of dental CAD/CAM systems, has expanded the menu of material options available through its infiniDent Internet-based service offering for inLab and inEos users.

This new material option will provide infiniDent customers with outstanding esthetics, high-strength restorations and predictable shade matching.

Specifically, infiniDent customers can now utilize Ivoclar Vivadent's IPS e.max ZirCAD to fabricate durable, metal-free and esthetically accurate crown and bridge frameworks.

This is the second time Sirona has expanded its infiniDent materials offering since launching the innovative service in April, adding to the initially offered and current Vita YZ material.

According to Norbert Ulmer, Director of Dental Laboratory Applications, "Sirona is dedicated to the continuous expansion and improvement of the infiniDent service offering. The addition of IPS e.max ZirCAD is just another example of how we strive to provide Sirona inLab customers with the highest level of functionality, support and quality in the industry."

infiniDent enables inLab and inEos owners to derive additional value from their existing technology investments by providing access to a rapidly expanding menu of materials and indications without incurring significant additional costs.

infiniDent is initially supporting pure zirconium oxide restorations. In Q1 of 2007, additional indications such as large-span bridges, customized implant abutments from Straumann, as well as metal frameworks, will be added.
