The Identalloy Council announces the introduction of a new Identalloy Certificate specifically designed to identify and provide content information for Cobalt based alloys used in Removable Partial Denture frameworks. This new certificate is in addition to the current certificates for High Noble, Noble, and Predominantly Base alloys available for fixed restorations.

These convenient, easy to use, two-part certificates are provided by alloy manufacturers who are licensees of the Identalloy Council to their laboratory clients free of charge. Part 1 of the certificate is kept with the laboratory records. The second part travels with the case to the Dr's office for inclusion with the patient records making information on the alloy used to fabricate the case and its contents always available. In today's world of insurance claims and patient allergies it is comforting to have this documentation on file.

Chuck Yenkner, Identalloy Executive Director said: "Identalloy pioneered the documentation of alloys for fixed restorations 18 years ago. It's logical to make the same information available for removable partial denture cases."

The Identalloy Council Inc. is a nonprofit organization formed to raise healthcare standards through the documentation of alloys used in dental restorations. For more information regarding Identalloy, call (800) 577-2634 or visit www.Identalloy.org.
