Orlando, Florida--MICROBRUSH INTERNATIONAL has announced the introduction of micro-Stix, the new disposable placement instruments designed to securely hold and place fragile or small items during restorations.
This innovative tool utilizes the latest technology in adhesive coating to create the most practical handle for veneers, crowns, inlays, onlays, bands, brackets, clasps, and numerous other objects.
According to Philip Mark, Vice President of MICROBRUSH INTERNATIONAL, the micro-Stix design consists of flexible plastic sticks with patented bendable necks and non-hardening adhesive tips that securely attach to most surfaces.
"The design and performance of micro-Stix make it a perfect fit to our product line. We strive to offer the dental community applicators that enhance and simplify dentistry; the new micro-Stix offer practitioners an easy-to-use disposable adhesive tipped applicator to handle restorations with confidence," Mark said.
The new micro-Stix are available in two different holding strengths ?Smart Hold and Original? providing clinicians with more options for use depending on the size of restorations. The standard package contains 64 micro-Stix in four clear plastic cases with 16 applicators each.
The Smart hold micro-Stix are the only adhesive-tip applicators available on the market that feature a new technology with pressure sensitive adhesive. This advanced adhesive lets practitioners determine the holding strength by the force exerted on the applicator's tip.
Use less pressure to facilitate the placement of delicate items with easier release or more pressure to handle larger items. The Original Hold features the strongest adhesive for extra holding strength.
