In the last episode of Success in 7 Minutes, Dr. Howard Glazer and I talked about toothbrushesâelectric versus manual. In this video, will discuss the importance of interdental cleaning and offer some suggestions you can share with your patients. Brushing your teeth without some type of interdental cleaning is like taking a shower without washing your armpits, right? đ
Establishing good habits early on is the best thing you can do for your patients. Interdental cleaning can be accomplished with water flossers and manual floss aidsâand donât overlook the benefits of oral irrigation under bridges and in and around dental implants. Most importantly, you must work with patients on the type of interdental cleaning device they will actually use.
Next time, weâll talk about toothpastes. Stay tuned.
