In the August issue of DAD, I asked our readers to tell us the best/nicest and worst/meanest things that a dentist had ever said to them. Many of you responded and, as always, I thank you for your honest input.

One thing that stood out to me about your answers was the number of you who said "thank you" was the nicest thing that a dentist ever said to you. That shows how important a simple act of appreciation is to so many dental assistants. It also shows the power of those two words.
