AADOM annually recognizes dental professionals who provide exceptional patient care and are an inspiration and leader within their practice. As in past years, many nominations were received and reviewed by a committee comprised of industry leaders invited to participate by AADOM.
“This year the committee agreed that Jamie’s passion and commitment to excellence, along with his contributions to the dental profession, his community in Oklahoma, and the team he works with every day, made him stand out among the other nominees,” said AADOM president Heather Colicchio.
“Jamie is not only the glue that holds our practice together, but he is also a respected leader inside and outside of the office,” wrote Stan Crawford, DDS, one of four doctors at Grove Dental Associates, in his nomination letter. “With four doctors and 22 employees, the day-to-day management of a busy practice like ours can be a real challenge. Jamie is always well prepared and extremely organized, making sure that no matter what the problem, there is never any compromise in patient care.
"Since he assumed the duties of Director of Operations, Jamie has been instrumental in helping us manage and control overhead, reduce expenses, and increase our production by nearly 20%," Dr. Crawford continued. "He’s a great practice ambassador in our community and has spearheaded our team’s involvement in several charitable endeavors for our school, hospital, and local women’s shelter. Jamie is also a member of several boards and is very active in the Rotary Club, Hospital Foundation, Ambulance Service, and his local church. Every one of us at Grove Dental Associates knows how hard Jamie works to make our dental practice a success. I have no idea what we would do without him.”
“I would like to sincerely thank AADOM, my doctors and team for recognizing me in this manner,” Perryman said after winning the award. “Every day I strive to honor and celebrate each and every patient and employee at Grove Dental Associates. It feels really special to have those efforts acknowledged by my peers at AADOM.”
As the 2016 award winner, Jamie will receive a special package provided by CareCredit, AADOM’s founding sponsor, including complimentary registration to the 2017 AADOM conference, a profile story in AADOM’s digital magazine TheObserver, and $1,000 in prize money.
