Western Dental teams with Crest® to coordinate program
Western Dental Services, the largest staff model provider of dental services in the state of California, and the Crest® Oral Care Products Division of Procter & Gamble are joining forces to launch a major education campaign designed to help fight the "silent epidemic" of oral health in California.
During the announcement of the partnership, parking lots outside one of Western Dental's newest general dentistry and orthodontic offices in Burbank, Calif., was transformed into a "Crest World." This was a unique play area where children could receive valuable oral-health information while enjoying amusements like a giant mouth-shaped inflatable. Free dental screenings were offered to the children in attendance by Western Dental staff professionals, and gift packs containing a variety of Crest oral-care products and informational literature were given to their parents and other attendees.
Western Dental plans to use its more than 130 dental centers in California and Arizona as distribution points for literature and other informational tools.
