GeoAccess, a leading supplier of technology and data services for the managed healthcare industry, has acquired certain assets of HealthCheck, a Colorado-based credentials verification organization (CVO) owned by Velocity.com.

GeoAccess, a leading supplier of technology and data services for the managed healthcare industry, has acquired certain assets of HealthCheck, a Colorado-based credentials verification organization (CVO) owned by Velocity.com.

GeoAccess' wholly owned subsidiary Sweetwater Health Enterprises will provide CVO services, credentialing software, online data verification and other services for former HealthCheck clients.

"This acquisition strengthens Sweetwater's leadership position in the credentialing industry and illustrates GeoAccess' commitment to the long-term success of our CVO business," said Paul Weaver, President of Sweetwater Health Enterprises. "We have been working closely with HealthCheck management to ensure that our new customers enjoy a smooth transition, and we have added resources to provide continued outstanding service to our current clients," added Weaver.

HealthCheck will cease operations and close its Denver office soon.
