Software provides charting system that allows dentists to create examinations, treatment, and treatment plan charts for general, restorative, endodontic, and periodontal dentistry.

CHADDS FORD, Pennsylvania--ADSTRA Systems Inc. has introduced Version 6 of their ADSTRA Charting software.

The new version features two new full mouth views of the odontogram, a redesigned user interface, a new report (Dental Plaque Progression), and a new tool (Braces).

ADSTRA Charting software provides a complete charting system that allows dentists to create examinations, treatment, and treatment plan charts for General, Restorative, Endodontic, and Periodontal dentistry.

ADSTRA Charting provides the user with two screens for charting conditions: the mandibular and maxillary. The new version offers two additional screens for viewing the full mouth at a glance in the Buccal view and the Palatal/Lingual view. A redesigned user interface features advanced graphics using Windows XP style.

Also new for Version 6 is a report, Dental Plaque Progression, that allows the clinician to chart the amount of plaque for each patient over time. This feature gives dentists and hygienists a way to track this valuable information, which can then be used for patient counseling and treatment.

The new braces tool allows dentists to indicate the presence of an orthodontic device as part of the patient record.
