Academy of General Dentistry and Hufford Financial Advisors, LLC form allance to create continuing dental education financial programs.

CHICAGO--The Academy of General Dentistry and the AGD Foundation have announced a continuing dental education-based strategic sponsorship with Hufford Financial Advisors, LLC.

This five year-long strategic alliance will focus on creating and providing quality continuing dental education financial programs for general dentists.

As part of this collaborative effort, the alliance will provide financial
planning courses each year at the AGD Annual Meeting & Exhibit targeted
specifically to general dentists, as well as host Web-based workshops.

In addition, Hufford in conjunction with an AGD advisory panel, will create a
series of informative regional or constituent-based workshops for general
dentists that will present the strategies, tools and resources needed to
shape their individual financial visions in the current economy.

"We are thrilled to be able to tap into the AGD's rich continuing education
history and tradition of objectivity to work with this respected
organization to create course content for AGD members," says Brian Hufford, CEO and president of Hufford Financial Advisors, LLC.

"As we work to develop new CDE, we'll share our industry expertise to help the AGD continue the high-quality educational standards their members have come to expect."

"This alliance was created because our organizations want to work together
to better educate and empower general dentists to identify their financial
strengths and weaknesses," says AGD Foundation President Julie A. Barna,
DMD, MAGD. "Our teams want to help individuals to build a fiscally
responsible practice as well as sound financial and investment plans."

Course content will be created by a collaborative process between the AGD
and Hufford Financial. The CDE credit will be provided by the AGD, and the
courses will be underwritten by the AGD Foundation through a generous
financial contribution given over a five-year period from Hufford Financial
to the AGD Foundation.

In addition, the course content offerings will change every year in order to offer participants greater variety and to reflect the latest information available relative to materials and techniques.

"We are thrilled to work with this industry leader, who shares our vision to
create program content that will help advance the value and excellence of
general dentistry as well as benefit dental professionals," says AGD
Executive Director Christie Tarantino, CAE. "We look forward to working with
Hufford Financial and the AGD Foundation to broaden our members' access to new continuing education experiences."
