Cellerant names Melissa Turner chief hygiene officer

Turner is the cofounder of both the National Mobile Dentistry Conference and American Mobile Dentistry Alliance.

Cellerant Consulting Group has announced that Melissa Turner, BASDH, RDHEP, EFDA is joining the company as chief hygiene officer. 

Turner is the creator of I Heart Mobile Dentistry, a Facebook group supporting clinicians who practice mobile dentistry, and cofounder of both the National Mobile Dentistry Conference and recently launched American Mobile Dentistry Alliance. She is also the executive moderator for the Dental Peeps Network, a dental social networking platform that provides education, employment, product information, job placement, and shared expertise.

A valued thought leader and influencer within the dental industry, Turner has practiced clinical dentistry across the country for the last 15 years. Her expertise includes mobile dental care delivery, teledentistry, workplace wellness, and dental therapy, as well as increasing the role and responsibility of the dental hygienist as part of the primary care team. A member of the advisory board for RDH magazine and regular contributor in trade publications, she advocates for ways to improve the provider and patient experience. She brings a track record of service in both developing and seasoned organizations, with a focus in program development and strategy.
