Precision Ceramics Dental Laboratory's Montclair, Calif., production facility has announced the successful completion of its third party GMP inspection.

DAMAS (Dental Appliance Manufacturers Audit Scheme) is a quality management system which includes an international set of standards and management practices for consistently and accurately delivering products and services to meet the customers' requirements.
The requirements set forth in DAMAS are based upon the principles specified by the FDA. However, these principles have been adapted and simplified to meet the requirements of the Medical Devices Directive and the Medical Devices Regulations used in Europe, and they reflect the practical application of manufacturing dental appliances.
Dental laboratories must undergo a rigorous certification process to obtain a DAMAS registration.
