Dental industry news: Thousands attend European symposium

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida--Dental implant professionals descended Jan. 11-12, 2013, upon Madrid, Spain, to attend the Second Annual BIOMET 3iEuropean Symposium.

The symposium took place in the Hotel Auditorium Madrid & Congress Centre Príncipe Felipe.

More than 2,500 people listened to scientific presentations, which were simultaneously translated into different languages. The symposium featured 40 speakers, numerous workshops, an exhibition and scientific poster area, and even a special 3-D presentation.

In addition, the 3i T3 Implant was officially launched at the meeting. The 3i T3 implant is a contemporary hybrid implant with a new multi-surface topography.
