Oral Health America's annual Fall for Smiles® campaign is in full swing, encouraging all Americans to maintain a healthy smile by brushing and flossing, regularly visiting the dentist, eating healthy foods, and avoiding tobacco. This year, four national dental associations have stepped-up to support the campaign and help spread the message of the importance of oral health to even more Americans. Thank you to the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM), the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), the National Dental Association (NDA), and OSAP (Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention) for their commitment to OHA’s efforts.
The HDA’s support has made it possible for the campaign booklet to be translated into Spanish and distributed to over 500 Spanish speaking dental practices across the nation. OSAP will be facilitating a safety and prevention webinar for programs that provide mobile dental care through the use of portable equipment. AADOM and the NDA hosted OHA at their annual meetings to speak with members about the benefits Fall for Smiles provides to their communities.
