Ultradent plans to unveil a 4-ml bottle dispenser April 10-13, 2013, at the California Dental Association trade show. Peak Universal Bond is a 7.5% filled, light-cured resin for bonding procedures, both direct and indirect. It provides bond strengths and works with composite, metal, zirconia, porcelain repair, and post and core procedures. Peak’s formulation, which is compatible with self-etch and total-etch techniques, also features a 0.2% concentration of chlorhexidine. This has been proven to help ensure long-term bond strengths. In fact, in in-house studies and a study conducted by Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Peak consistently recorded high bond strengths on dentin and enamel.
