CARLSBAD, California--Polara Golf, manufacturer of a self-correcting golf ball, will hold a Polara Open Aug. 5, 2011, at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course in San Dimas, Calif.
The event will be in conjunction with the American Student Dental Association at Western University of Health Sciences.
Through its Polara Foundation, Polara Golf selects charity golf outings throughout the country to participate with and donates its self-correcting Ultimate Straight golf balls to help enhance the playing experience for participants. Players in the Polara Open are required to play a Polara Ultimate Straight golf ball In order to help golfers of all skill levels drive more fairways, speed up play, and make the day more enjoyable.

ASDA at Western University of Health Sciences has announced that, with the help of their sponsors, golfers, and dinner attendees, it will more than double the amount of funds raised than the previous year.
“With the generous support of all those sponsoring, we will be able to send students to dental conferences, provide free care for children, and help buy dental supplies for the needy in our community,” said Chris Dudzik, president of ASDA at Western University.
This will be the second annual golf tournament to raise money for ASDA, which includes funding for outreach programs like Give Kids a Smile. In 2010, there were more 50 golfers, which included dental students, dentists, dental suppliers and various sponsors from the area. In 2011, additional numbers are expected.
