Dr. Michael A. Smith of Biting Edge Family Dentistry in Phoenix, Ariz., has been elected chair of the Arizona Dental Foundation. He has been active in Arizona Dental Association component and constituent activities since 1994, serving as president of the Central Arizona Dental Society in 2007. DIn addition his post doctorate studies in occlusion, sedation, sleep apnea, and TMD, he is a Certified Instructor of Euroteknika EDI Implants; lecturer/educator of BioResearch, T-Scan, ERA Sterngold Mini Implants; clinical instructor, mentor and program lecturer for theHornbrook Group, clinical mastery; instructor in hygiene laser certification for Phoenix College; and national and international educator in full mouth rehabilitation, esthetics, and occlusion.
