The 21st annual gala will run from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Feb. 23, 2011, at the Field Museum in Chicago. The gala is often referred to as dentistry's largest "party with a purpose" because the more-than-900 person event raises funds for OHA's programs. These programs support dental care and education for at-risk families and children.
The OHA Gala is held each year on the eve of the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting. The black tie-optional evening features dinner, dancing, and a sapphire ring raffle.
