Richard Beckman, chief executive officer of Great Expressions, said, "We are focused on providing access to quality dentistry at convenient times for our valued patients. Thanks to our dedicated dental teams in Atlanta, all of our offices were open on Monday to serve the community. There is tremendous demand for our services on certain Holidays. We recognized how important Martin Luther King Day is to the American people and especially to the citizens of Dr. King's home town of Atlanta. We felt this was an appropriate way to commemorate and support Dr. King's contributions and vision to American Society."

Dr. Walter Reid, regional vice president, Georgia, commented:"Our doctors and staff really championed this great idea of dual service by helping our neighbors in the communities we serve by opening our doors that day while helping on a bigger scale to celebrate and support Dr. King's vision and message of freedom, democracy, and opportunity for all."
