OSAP infection week

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland—The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention has signed on as a supporting partner with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology and other associations to celebrate the 25th anniversary of International Infection Prevention Week.

The week is slated for Oct. 16-22, 2011.

“IIPW activities bring greater attention to the importance of infection prevention and honor the professionals who deliver health care to patients safely,” said Therese Long, OSAP executive director.

OSAP Launches Contest Based on Contagion Movie

"OSAP is proud to be part of a global network that is targeting this week to highlight and promote the importance of patient and provider safety."

OSAP will kick off IIPW Oct. 16 by drawing the winning entry in OSAP’s Contagion movie tie-in contest.
