ADA conference

2011 Conference on Dentist Health and Wellness to be held Aug. 18-19 in Chicago.

CHICAGO, Illinois--The American Dental Association will sponsor the 2011 Conference on Dentist Health and Wellness to provide dentists and their staffs with tips to maintain, improve or enhance the quality of life inside or outside the office.

The conference is scheduled Aug. 18-19 at ADA headquarters in Chicago, Ill. The conference has continually expanded its scope to provide attendees with research and techniques to keep pace with increased awareness of the health and wellness of not only the dentist and the dental team but patients as well.

Meet Jayne Tripoli

Attendees have the option of taking courses that provide tips on general health and ergonomics or courses geared to working with dentists who have impairments and the current education, prevention, and treatment of impaired dentists and/or patients.

The purpose of the conference is to bring together dentists, spouses, dental team members, dental students and professionals who work with dentists and connect them with experts who can discuss and provide key information on health and wellness issues.

The conference fees for ADA-members, members of the American Student Dental Association, and state dental society staff are $125 for one day and $250 for both days. Nonmembers pay $175 for one day or $350 for both days.
