SOUTH BEND, Indiana--People worldwide have turned to YouTube to watch videos of the latest news, to catch a glimpse of pop culture, or to see in-the-moment events captured by on-scene amateur photographers.

Heraeus, a leader in advancing dental esthetics and dental wellbeing, has also turned to this 21st century communication tool, but for a different purpose: dental education.

Heraeus now maintains a YouTube channel, located at ww.youtube.com/user/HeraeusKulzerLLC.

This resource for live instruction, education, and mechanism of action videos has more than 30 clips covering a selection of timely and relevant topics. Impression techniques, posterior restorations, and live demonstrations of whitening procedures are covered as are animations and brief documentaries that showcase the charitable oral health initiatives that Heraeus underwrites and supports.

Featured presenters include Drs. Corky Willhite, Howard Glazer, Steve Ratcliff, Cherilyn Sheets, Fred Margolis, and Ross Nash, as well as Shannon Pace-Brinker, CDS, CDD. Through instructional videos and patient demonstrations, they share their knowledge and expertise on best uses and practices for the Heraeus dental products on the market today.

Among the products showcased are Venus White Max and Venus White Ultra, which--together with Venus White Pro--comprise Heraeus’ suite of teeth-whitening products. Dentists can learn about this line of products in the Venus White Teeth Whitening Systems video, or can view separate videos with each featuring a technique or procedure specific to Max, Pro, or Ultra. Additional clips feature how to whiten veneers or how to brighten a teenager’s smile using the Venus White system.

In addition to cosmetic procedures, restorative work is also shown. Videos demonstrate iBOND Self Etch, featuring Dr. Glazer, as well as the Flexitime impression materials with Dr. Willhite.
