Vident, Sieber course
SAN DIEGO, California--Vident teamed up with Claude Sieber, MDT, to offer a program that focused on teaching students how to create a lifelike, all-ceramic restoration solely from a photograph. Participants were trained on how to map out several effect powders and porcelains, including effect enamels, effect pearls, effect opals, and others to fabricate a picture perfect restoration. A brief lecture on understanding the purpose of translucent and opacious porcelain applications to create a tooth was followed by the hands-on portion of the course. Attendees were supplied with a photograph and used their technical creativity to build and fabricate the closest matching central to the picture.
