DentaQuest, a dental benefit administrator that operates in 24 states and serves more than 14 million members, has named Steven J. A health-care executive, Pollock has distinguished himself for strategic planning and execution, acquisitions, and risk management. As president, he doubled the size of the government unit since its acquisition by DentaQuest in 2004.Pollock joined the government division, then known as Doral, in 1999 as corporate counsel. He also served as vice president of market development, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Under his leadership, membership, revenue, profitability, and value grew dramatically,” said Fay Donohue, CEO and president of DentaQuest. “Steve led the company through change and advancement with good people practices, innovative technology, and efficient processes.
