SmileTrain is a charity that provides life-changing surgery to children suffering with cleft lips and palates who otherwise could not afford the treatment. Through a program called, “Shine a Light on What is Right,” Orascoptic hopes to help SmileTrain with its mission of bringing smiles to the faces of many children.
“The SmileTrain organization is a wonderful organization that we are happy to be helping with their mission,” said Steve Fanning, director of marketing for Orascoptic. "Their goal of providing beautiful smiles to children suffering with cleft lips and palates is in line with our goal of helping the Dental community provide beautiful smiles and we are proud to be working with them this year."
Added Michele Sinesky, SmileTrain donor relations manager: “Smile Train is honored to have Orascoptic as a sponsor. With their donation, we will help more children than we ever thought possible.”
Communication of the “Shine a Light on What is Right” program begins in February 2011.
