Muller honored with 2012 Award of Distinction

President of Henry Schein Special Markets recognized by JDRF Long Island Chapter.

MELVILLE, New York--Hal Muller, president, special markets, Henry Schein, has been honored with the 2012 Award of Distinction by the Long Island Chapter of JDRF.

JDRF is a leading global organization focused on Type 1 diabetes research. Driven by passionate, grassroots volunteers connected to children, adolescents and adults with the disease, JDRF is a charitable supporter of T1D research. The goal of JDRF is to improve the lives of people affected by T1D by accelerating progress on promising opportunities for curing, better treating, and preventing the disease.

"Having been diagnosed with T1D at the age of 29, I have the utmost respect and admiration for the important work of JDRF to support the research that is so critical to finding a cure for the disease," said Muller.
