If you think you can say anything you want about anybody in the world of social media without repercussions, think again.

On my American Airlines flight back to Tulsa from the recent Yankee Dental Congress in Boston, I was flipping through the American Way magazine and came across an article titled, "A Word to the Wise." What's the bottom of the line of the article? If you think you can say anything you want about anybody in the world of social media without repercussions, think again.

Trust me, I've had my moments where I vented about people and the day's events on Twiiter and Facebook. We've all been there, wanting to tell the world how horrible someone has treated us. While social media may provide instant gratification, that venting that can cause some big-time headaches down the road.

I found it a very interesting read and I think you will as well. Click here to read the article from American Way.
