CHARLOTTE, North Carolina--Cosmedent., a leader in dental esthetics, has donated dental products valued at $727,746.10 to National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s Toothfairy (NCOHF).

The contribution of Cosmedent dental supplies was distributed to 28 members of the NCOHF Affiliate network, helping these programs meet the growing need for comprehensive care in their local underserved communities.

The national NCOHF Affiliate network is comprised of more than 60 nonprofit health-care programs that share a mission to provide educational, restorative, and preventive services for children in need of care. Through the generosity of caring individuals and corporations such as Cosmedent, NCOHF has delivered more than $7 million in funding and donated products to Affiliate partners in less than five years.

Dr. K. William “Buddy” Mopper, chairman, and Michael O’Malley, president of Cosmedent, expressed, “We are very proud to be affiliated with National Children’s Oral Health Foundation and their outstanding work for the at-risk children of America.”

Added Fern Ingber, MEd, NCOHF president and CEO: “A new school year may signify a fresh start to many, but children suffering from untreated dental complications will find it difficult to concentrate on their studies, socialize with classmates, and become successful students. Because of Cosmedent’s outstanding donation, 28 NCOHF Affiliates are ensuring a greater number of at-risk children in their area are able and ready to learn, free from the preventable pain of pediatric dental disease.”
