ImageWorks agreement with Sleep Group

Companies agree on distribution and promotion of NewTom VGi Flex in mobile Cone Beam units in U.S. and Canada.
ELMSFORD, New York--ImageWorks and Sleep Group Solutions have announced an agreement in which SGS will distribute and promote the NewTom VGi Flex mobile units for Sleep Disorders in the U.S. and Canada. SGS is a leading provider of airway diagnostic technology, serving physicians and dentists interested in screening, diagnosing, and treating sleep apnea and other upper airway disorders. The NewTom VGi, a 3D Cone Beam CT system, has medical grade components, patented Safe Beam technology to customize the dose based on the patient size, and image quality. The NewTom VGi Flex carries a warranty for installation in mobile environments. Treatment of dental sleep disorders is becoming an added procedure to dental offices. Having a patient treated for dental sleep disorder and providing a NewTom VGi3D Cone Beam CT scan can lead to a more accurate airway assessment and a quicker and more effective treatment plan.SGS offers dental sleep medicine CE seminars that focus on teaching dentists the protocols needed to make the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea part of their practices. ImageWorks hopes to leverage SGS's success in the dental sleep medicine market to further expand the NewTom Mobile 3D Cone Beam CT fleet of mobile imaging centers. ImageWorks and its NewTom VGi Flex have more than 30 mobile cone beam imaging centers operating nationwide.
