Vibringe is an endodontic irrigation system that combines the manual flow and refreshment of the irrigation solution with sonic activation.
Vibringe Corporation has been honored with the Golden Medical Design Excellence Award 2010.Managing Director Mart Sips announced that this prize is an award in the medical technology community. The prize not only recognizes the company's achievements as a medical device manufacturer, but recognizes Vibringe's suppliers and people behind the scenes--engineers, scientists, designers, and clinicians. The Vibringe is an endodontic irrigation system that combines the manual flow and refreshment of the irrigation solution with sonic activation. This sonic technology produces a more effective, faster, and a higher predictable outcome of the root canal treatment.Vibringe products are being distributed throughout the U.S. by dental distributors such as Patterson Dental, Benco, and the American Dental Cooperative member companies. “This is a game-changing product,” Mike Smurr of Patterson Dental said. "Since I first saw this unique product, I knew this would realize a huge step forward in the endodontic treatment. Vibringe is combining activation and irrigation in one step. Dentists save time and money because this system does not introduce additional steps and due to the activation of the irrigant it realizes cleaner results!"Added Dr. Gary Glassman, an endo specialist: ‘’This is an endodontic no-brainer and it will be a big big winner for endodontics as a whole.’’ Preliminary studies show the Vibringe helps provide a thorough debridement, eliminates blockage, and disrupts the smear layer. More studies are being conducted at the University of Pennsylvania, and should be released before the end of 2010.
