The recycling efforts of attendees at the 2010 American Dental Association Annual Session and Greater New York Dental Meeting have helped 3M ESPE donate $20,000 worth of product to the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation. To read more about 3M ESPE, go to 3M ESPE.3M ESPE announced prior to the two shows that it would make a donation of product to NCOHF for every specially marked cup band that was recycled at the booth. After ADA attendees made a strong showing with $10,000 worth of product donated, GNY attendees stepped up to match that total. This resulted in a final donation of $20,000 worth of product. “We are thrilled that Greater New York attendees rose to the challenge to help us reach our donation goal,” said Tim McGlynn, 3M ESPE marketing manager. “The combined effort from all tradeshow attendees was overwhelming. We are proud to support the NCOHF in the fight against childhood dental disease, and we thank ADA and GNY attendees for their help in meeting this goal.”The special cup bands, printed on post-consumer recycled paper, were handed out by street teams dispensing complimentary beverages as part of the RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement launch. For more information, go to www.3m.com/product/business-units/espe-dental.html.To comment on this topic, go to community.pennwelldentalgroup.com/.
