Throughout the weeklong trip, the dental team saw almost 1,800 patients while visiting government clinics, orphanages, and the 75-year-old village of Korah. The village was set up to transplant people with leprosy outside of the city.

"What an incredible blessing it was to be able to meet and care for the people of Korah," said Smile Generation We Serve Manager Kyle Guerin. "We came to make an impact on the lives of the people of Korah. We left with Korah making a huge impact on all of our lives."

The trip was lead by Dr. Moody Alexander, an orthodontist in Arlington, Texas.

The group included Dr. Yasmin Easley from Palmdale, Calif.; Dr. Paul Gebhart from Desert Ridge, Ariz.; Dr. Ashleigh Harrison from Glendale, Colo.; Dr. Tanisha Jackson from Redlands, Calif.; Dr. Keith Johnson from Oxnard, Calif.; Dr. Dean Lambridis from Thousand Oaks, Calif.; Dr. Andrea Moore from San Bernardino, Calif.; Dr. Nikki Norton from Las Vegas, Nev.; and Dr. Eric Swensen from Tucson, Ariz.
