Henry Schein appoints Bohnke

MELVILLE, New York--Henry Schein, a distributor of health-care products and services to office-based practitioners, has announced the appointment of Christian Boehnke as vice president of operations, central Europe. In his new role, Boehnke will be responsible for Henry Schein’s distribution centers in Gallin and Weinheim, Germany. He will also take a partnership role in the operations of the company’s distribution centers in Italy, Czech Republic and Switzerland (which are responsible for supplying customers in many countries throughout Europe), as well as the company's overall distribution center strategic direction.Boehnke received his Diploma of Business Administration from the Bayrischen-Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg. While based at Henry Schein’s facilities in Gallin and Weinheim, Boehnke resides in Hamburg.Boehnke joined Henry Schein in January 2001 as director of logistics in Gallin.
