Henry Schein names Schiefner

MELVILLE, New York--Henry Schein, a distributor of health-care products and services to office-based practitioners, announced today that Andreas Schiefner has been appointed Director of Field Operations for Henry Schein Dental Depot in Germany. In his new role, Schiefner will be responsible for implementing effective processes and procedures for the Company in the technical services and equipment order processing areas. Schiefner will also work on strategic initiatives to effectively manage inventory levels. Schiefner began his professional career at Hewlett Packard and more recently held the position of Director of Operations at Zimmer, a medical technology company. He holds an engineering degree from Stuttgart Technical University in Germany as well as an M.B.A. degree from Kansas State University (in the United States).
