VALO wins award

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah--The International Design Excellence Awards has weighed in on VALO’s design. VALO received the IDEA bronze award in the category of medical and scientific products in June 2010.

Established in 1980, the IDEA is a program co-sponsored by BusinessWeek magazine and the Industrial Designers Society of America. Part of the IDEA’s goal is to “foster business and public understanding of the importance of industrial design excellence to the quality of life and economy”.

Awards are based on innovation, esthetics, design effectiveness, and impact on the user and environment. VALO outperformed other medical devices from various health-care disciplines.
