Henry Schein appoints Monahan

Grace Monahan named vice president and chief information officer of global information services.
MELVILLE, New York--Henry Schein, a distributor of health-care products and services to office-based practitioners, has announced that Grace Monahan has been named vice president and chief information officer of global information services.The appointment represents a broadening of Monahan’s responsibilities from her current role as chief information officer for North America. In her new role, she will oversee Henry Schein’s business systems, e-commerce technology and IS Infrastructure Services, as well as creative services worldwide.Monahan has also been named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business on Long Island by Long Island Business News. The annual program recognizes Long Island’s top women professionals for business acumen, mentoring, and community involvement. Monahan, who resides in Muttontown, New York, joined Henry Schein nearly 12 years ago and has moved through several positions of increasing responsibility in the information services organization. She received her B.S. in business administration from the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University.
