Cathye Smithwick, RDH, MA, will be a featured speaker at the 2008 American Association of Dental Consultants Spring Workshop May 8-10 at the Radisson Resort and Casino at Fort McDowell, in Scottsdale/Fountain Valley, Ariz.

Smithwick, Group Vice President of Dental Affairs for Delta Dental of California and affiliates, will speak on "Great Ideas That Didn't Work. Why They Didn't Work, and What We Can Learn From Our Mistakes To Prepare For The Future."

The Workshop's theme is "Enhancing the Role and Relevance of the Dental Consultant."

Dentists, dental specialists and persons actively involved or interested in becoming involved in the dental insurance business or consulting are welcome to attend the workshop, which offers 15 Continuing Education Unit credits. Conference speakers include 10 of the industry's leading experts on clinical dentistry and dental claims management.
