Lares announces enhanced laser training

Aug. 19, 2008
Training included with the purchase of a PowerLase AT laser system.

CHICO, California--Lares Research, a leader in high-performance all-tissue dental lasers, has joined with laser dentistry's most experienced clinical trainers to offer an expanded training program exclusively for purchasers of the Lares PowerLase AT hard- and soft-tissue laser.

The new training, offered in conjunction with the Masters of Laser Dentistry and the Montana Center for Laser Dentistry, is included with the purchase of every PowerLase AT laser system.

The Masters of Laser Dentistry, consisting of Dr. James Jesse, Dr. Ron Kaminer, and Dr. Dan McEowen, will provide a comprehensive two-day basic-level training course for new PowerLase users at its training center in Hewlett, N.Y.

The Montana Center For Laser Dentistry, consisting of Dr. Mark Colonna, Dr. Robert Barr, and Dr. Enrico Divito, will provide a two-day advanced-level training course for new users at its training center in Whitefish, Mont.

Two additional two-day advanced-level training courses will also be available to PowerLase users after their first full year of laser use.

The clinicians from these two laser training organizations are among dentistry's most experienced hard- and soft-tissue laser experts. They have trained more than 4,000 dentists since 1998, and are also responsible for the development of most of the hard- and soft-tissue laser protocols used today by laser dentists worldwide.

The new training program will be available exclusively to Lares PowerLase AT users. The PowerLase AT combines two wavelengths in a single system, allowing clinicians to choose the hard- and soft-tissue efficiency of Er:YAG or the soft-tissue precision of Nd:YAG by changing wavelengths as needed with a simple press of a button.
