CHICO, California--Lares Research has extended its agreement with Fotona for an additional five years.
Under the new agreement, Lares Research continues as the exclusive U.S. distributor of Fotona's all-tissue Er:YAG and Nd:YAG dental lasers currently sold under the Lares laser model names PowerLase AT and PowerLase HT.
The new agreement also provides for Fotona, a leading European manufacturer of all-tissue dental lasers, and Lares to work closely together on the development of new lasers and new laser clinical applications in addition to enhancements to the existing products.
"Lares Research and Fotona have worked very well together since 2005," says Craig Lares, President of Lares Research. "We have a shared vision of what American dentists need to successfully incorporate laser technology in their practices. Over the next five years we expect our partnership to be of even greater benefit to American dentists and their patients."
Lares supports its laser users with a clinical training program and in-office field repair. Lares also trains clinicians on laser treatment of periodontal disease using its proprietary Laser SoftCare protocol.
Lares dental lasers may also be upgraded to include an esthetic laser capability for dentists seeking to add a medical spa component to their business model.
