FREMONT, California--HOYA ConBio, a leader in dental and esthetic lasers, has announced the launch of the VersaWave Specialty Er:YAG all-issue dental laser.
The advanced full-featured laser will debut Nov. 30-Dec. 3 at the 2008 Greater New York Dental Meeting at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

Featuring a range of power settings, the VersaWave Specialty allows for treatment of phases of soft- or hard-tissue dentistry. This tool offers general or esthetic dentists the ease-of-use of an all-tissue laser, and enables specialists to perform advanced treatments in periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics and pediatrics.
According to Gehlmann, the pricing of the VersaWave Specialty includes inoffice and offsite training at the HOYA ConBio College of Laser Dentistry.

The sleek design of the VersaWave Specialty features a precision laser fiber tip, easy-view procedure curved tips and ergonomic handpiece. Advanced features include onboard calibration, water level monitoring, and foot-control. The panel has an LED readout with procedure-specific presets.
The integrated Trutest fiber calibration port helps provide consistent power output. As with all HOYA ConBio dental lasers, the VersaWave Specialty features flexible, durable, and long fiber.
