AnterioRest support is an approach to the prevention and treatment of lower back injury among dental professionals.

The AnterioRest support was granted its newest patent Sept. 9, 2008, by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Patent No. US 7,422,016 B2 is the AnterioRest support's second patent and a continuation-in-part of Patent No. US 6,435,186 filed Aug. 17, 2001.

Designed by physical therapist and spine specialist, Kurt Klemm, PT, MDT, CEAS, Rhinelander, Wis., the AnterioRest support is an approach to the prevention and treatment of lower back injury among dental professionals.

The AnterioRest provides Back Support from the Front for practitioners during dental procedures. The new version covers the use of support for both the torso and the "mirror arm," providing support for the full upper body.

Career Extenders, Inc. was established in 2003 to manufacture and distribute the AnterioRest support to dental practitioners worldwide. During the past five years, Career Extenders has continued to refine the AnterioRest support through many modifications and three generations. The result is the AnterioRest Dental support ARDEN02.

The AnterioRest support is available for dentistry and dental labs, as well as medical, and surgical applications. An AnterioRest support for industrial settings is in the process of being developed.
