CORAL SPRINGS, Florida--For 15 years, the Academy of Laser Dentistry has been educating dental practitioners worldwide on the proficient, safe and effective use of lasers in dentistry.
The Academy of Laser Dentistry is an international organization devoted to laser dentistry and includes clinicians, academicians and researchers in all laser wavelengths.
It was 15 years ago when people envisioned the impact that lasers in dentistry and the Academy of Laser Dentistry would have in the future.
Today, ALD remains a source for dental laser education, providing member benefits, along with a multi-level certification program and an annual meeting that covers aspects of dentistry and a variety of dental lasers.
In 2009, the academy host its 16th Annual Conference & Exhibition. The program will feature "A Day in the Life of a Dental Laser Practice." Through general and scientific sessions, hands-on workshops, live and video presentations, the clinician will be guided through the many applications to enhance their skills using dental lasers.
Programs will include science and research, clinical techniques, practice management, high-tech devices and hygiene. The conference will also explore the past, present and future of lasers in dentistry with a lineup of international speakers who will highlight the advancement of the dental laser from the first laser to current trend in lasers in dentistry.
