EFFINGHAM, Illinois--More than 800 children received free basic dental services as part of national Give Kids A Smile, thanks to dentists at 57 Heartland Dental Care practices across the country.
Heartland dentists across the country provided more than $300,000 worth of dentistry (including cleanings, X-rays, exams and more) during Give Kids A Smile.
"Unfortunately, many children do not see the dentist on a routine basis for basic dental services," said Dr. Jordan Spencer with 21st Century Dental in Charleston, Ill. "Because of Give Kids A Smile, we were able to make sure they received the care they need and deserve."
