CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio--Coltène/Whaledent's Alpen Rotary line of diamond and carbide burs ranks as the fourth fastest growth product in the dental industry for 2008, according to the 2008 Dental Products Market Share Study.
The study was conducted by Strategic Dental Marketing, creator of the DPMSS.

Alpen Rotary instruments are a comprehensive line of multiuse and single- patient diamonds, as well as carbides designed for operative preparations, metal cutting, and crown and bridge removal. Alpen's newest diamond product line, Speedster Zr Plus, is designed for zirconia and alumina frameworks.

As stated by Strategic Dental Marketing, data showing a dollar-sales growth percentage of 71.9% for Coltène/Whaledent's Alpen Rotary line places the company as the fastest-growing rotary instrument line. Contributing to the growth has been partner support from the dealer network.
Dental Products Market Share Study is a comprehensive analysis of the sales of dental products through dental dealers.
